RLN36 has no PoE ports, and Reolink’s setup guidance explicitly uses a PoE switch for wired cameras. Budget for switching and rack/closet space as part of the NVR decision.
High-res playback can reduce simultaneous playback channels
Reolink notes RLN36 supports only 1-channel playback when viewing at 8MP or higher resolution, which matters if you expect multi-camera high-res review on a local monitor.
